Journal of Nutrition Research publishes research articles, communications, and reviews on all aspects in the areas of basic and applied nutrition including nutrition research. It presents up-to-date, concise, critical reviews of key topics in nutrition science, advancing new concepts and hypotheses that encourage the exchange of fundamental ideas on the nutritional well-being of humans. The journal is divided into three types as Nutrition Research, Applied Nutrition Research and Applied Clinical Nutrition Research.

Area of Interest:

Nutrition Research: The understanding of New advances in the study of nutrients, investigations in animal models, phytochemicals, novel analytical techniques, molecular nutrition, functional foods, nutritional mechanisms in human populations, primary cells or cell culture models at the molecular level and related topics.

Applied Nutrition Research: Epidemiologic studies, human nutrition, physical activity and nutrition, cognitive functions, dietary conditions and therapies, nutritional analysis and application, nutritional profiles, menu development, applied functional foods research and all aspects in applied nutrition research.

Applied Clinical Nutrition Research: Basic and advanced clinical nutrition, enteral nutrition, parenteral nutrition, clinical medicine, critical and intensive care, nutritional guidelines development, advanced dietetics, malnutrition, metabolic disorders and diseases and all aspects in applied clinical nutrition research.

India Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (IAPEN) is an organization in the field of parenteral and enteral nutrition and promotes basic research, advanced education and organization of consensus statements about clinical care & quality control. The journal is published Bi-annually with a rapid publication policy. The Journal of Nutrition Research is a gold standard open access journal without any publication fee or processing fee or any fee for authors as well as readers. The journal is fully funded by India Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (IAPEN).
